Occupational Employment and Wage Data

Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OES) program operated in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, collects occupational employment and wages for all non-farm industries statewide, for 16 Workforce Investment Areas (WIA's), and for seven Metropolitan New England City and Town Statistical Areas (NECTA's) and Divisions.

The Massachusetts Industry-Occupation Employment Matrix, 2006-2016

The Massachusetts Industry-Occupation Employment Matrix---which reflects the unique mix of occupations and industries in Massachusetts---is a tabulation of current and projected employment levels for 725 occupations and 150 industries. Visit this webpage to search by occupation to see the industries that had the largest numbers of workers in the occupation in 2006 and which are projected to increase the fastest or increase the most over the 2006-2016 period; or to search by industry to see the occupations in that industry that had the most workers in 2006 and which will likely have the fastest growth or largest numerical increase over the 2006-2016 period.
